“The water carries yesterday away so gently I almost don’t notice the void.”

One of my favorite parts of living here is the grand access we have to this beautiful creek. Our entire western edge of the property runs along the waterline, and every bend feels like magic.

Some days I go down just to remember that it’s okay to let go of things quietly. The creek doesn’t announce what it’s leaving behind—it just keeps moving, soft and certain, carving out a path all its own.

If you look closely, you'll see the bridge in the background, which hangs over our 'little' creek yesterday. The creek ain't so little today!!

I can only imagine how much the water level has risen. 👀👀
