Forgotten in Time Images by R.Prentice

Forgotten in Time Images by R.Prentice Nature photographer who has a love for Wildlife, Old Vehicles and Homesteads. My name is Robin Prentice and I am a self taught Photographer.

After having a camera for so long you realize its not about just pointing and shooting to take a picture. You have to "create" the shot thus creating beautiful pictures with the right lighting, angles, etc. I do not edit any of my pictures except for the occasional changing to black and white or Sepia but for the most part I just shoot in regular old natural lighting =o) I love taking pictures of

homesteads and old vehicles but most of all I love the Wildlife.Nothing better than catching a Deer in mid jump over a barbed Wire fence or the Great Horned Owl sitting in the tree basking in the afternoon sun. I hope you all enjoy my Photos and my only goal is to share them with you.

Sorry I been away. Had some camera/computer issues so now I'm back. Got a new camera a few weeks back and have been working on learning the camera. Here's a lightning shot I snagged the other night.

Nestled behind a forgotten building, the afternoon sunlight reflects off the rusty orange and tan colors of the old 4-door Studebaker Bullet Nose. The bright silver handle and dead weeds that once grew along side the door create shadows in the light. It almost beckons you to open it, longing for days gone by...

Sometimes in the long forgotten hills there lays treasure just waiting to be seen by an artistic eye. Love this image so much I had it printed in an 11x14 for my living room wall.

Love both of these. Its so hard to choose between color and black and white sometimes. Whats your favorite?

"Mmmmmmpph didnt I tell you Margaret that these were the best leaves on this side of the hill?!"....."oh hey you down there. Where'd Margaret go? she was just here with her little guy Clyde" "Well, shes missing out, as these leaves are just the tastiest!" this doe was snacking away way up in the Eastern Utah hills with two others but they ran off before I could even try to catch a photo. This one however hung around for a few.

Let us not forget the True meaning behind Memorial Day. Remembering the Fallen who fought for our freedom and died in the midst.
