In coming to the International Festival, you'll see many Minnesota State Department booths. Don't worry, they aren't there to catch anyone breaking any rules or laws. They are there to inform community members of their rights and benefits of living in Minnesota. This year, we will be having the Department of Labor Industry, Minnesota Paid Leave from the Department of Employment and Economic Development, and the Department of Human Services Refugee Resettlement program. Time to meet our performers a bit more! Today, we'd like to introduce you to Other Country Ensemble. Other Country Ensemble is a group that specializes and tells stories through music of the world, but specifically the Mediterranean region. They describe their music as "folk," "ethnic," and describes music as the bridge to the way we can coexist. They'll be performing Saturday afternoon.
