Big news for Worthington hockey!

The ownership and lease agreement for the new ice arena has been approved by both the Worthington City Council and the District 518 School Board. After a long road with a lot of turns, we have a confirmed plan and a real path forward.

A new arena will be built on the school district's Crailsheim Road campus. ISD 518 will own the facility and the land. The City of Worthington will manage daily operations and scheduling under a 25 year lease. The current arena will continue to operate, which means Worthington is getting a second sheet of ice.

Worthington Youth Hockey Association is a funding partner in this project. We are putting our campaign team together and re-energizing our fundraising effort; we will share more about our goal and how you can be part of it later this week.

Thank you to everyone who has already pledged and to everyone who kept pushing to get this across the finish line. This is a building that will outlast all of us! Let's go build it!

Hi all,

We are opening up another glove store, this will be your last chance to order the high school/association team gloves. It closes Sunday night so don’t wait. These are nice gloves and look great.

Everyone is encouraged to purchase but it is not required.

If you are moving up to high school/JV it is highly encouraged to order so that all members are wearing the same gloves.

Try on will be available each day this week at 1114 Oxford Street in Worthington from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Reminder to bring your shoulder pads (For sure) and elbow pads. (If desired) You will fill out players name, name for jersey (Last name), birthdate, jersey size & 1st, 2nd & 3rd number choice.

We must have everyone's information by the end of the week so please please please get this done.
