We are still very excited and energized for this project! We want to thank the City of Worthington and ISD 518 for all of their continued efforts and support towards this vision. We are so grateful for all the time, effort and energy that has been put into this. Lots of twists and turns, but we are still very positive that there is a path to new ice.  What a great amenity for the school district, City of Worthington and surrounding communities. Thank you!!!

Worthington Hockey Summer Speed & Strength Training!

10U/12U/Squirt/Peewee 4:00-5:30
Bantams, Boys & Girls HS 5:45-7:00

These times are preferred for the age groups but the workouts will mirror eachother so if your athlete can make one but not the other please contact Kody or Vincent.

Bring gloves, stick. Wear workout clothes & tennis shoes.

We look forward to providing this great opportunity to further your players athletic abilities!

GLOVES
A glove design has been selected for WHA. An online store is open through May 10th where families can order the recommended gloves. Please note that gloves take approximately 8 weeks to arrive, so we wanted to get this information out ahead of next season. We cannot guarantee that another store will be opened at a later date, so we encourage you to take advantage of this window if you are in the market for new gloves.

***WORTHINGTON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION EQUIPMENT CHECK-IN****

We will be having Equipment Check-in for the Worthington Hockey Association.

Wednesday, April 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

At the Worthington Hockey Arena in the dryland training room.

Please return all association equipment and jerseys at this time.

Please be sure all equipment is returned clean. If not returned clean, you will be charged a $40 cleaning fee.

Rental Equipment can be machine washed and should be hung to dry.

Do not put rental equipment in the dryer to dry!

Equipment may be rented for summer Hockey/Camps.

A $25 fee must be paid at Equipment Check-in for summer rentals.

***PLEASE NOTE - All rented equipment must be brought in, even if you plan to rent it during the summer.

Reminder that our banquet is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 22 at the Worthington Hockey Association

4:45 PM — Doors Open
Come early, grab some food, and enjoy some time with your fellow WHA families before the formal program begins.

5:00 – 6:00 PM — Food Service
Food will be for sale until 6:00 PM (or until it's gone!), including a fan favorite — Jon-E-1's delicious Corn Mac.

6:00 PM — Players Get Ready
Players should have their black jersey on and ready to go. Coaches will direct players to either a locker room or a designated meeting area to get organized before the ceremony.

6:00 PM — Awards Ceremony (in the Arena)
The formal banquet begins with awards, certificates, and the Playmaker Award. Certificates will be presented team by team, starting with our oldest players and going up to our youngest.

Concessions will be open selling candy and drinks.
There will be a live auction for a signed team stick after each team is announced. Bring your checkbook! This is a great keepsake and also acts as a fundraiser for the association!

We can't wait to celebrate with you all. See you on April 22!
