Installed in 1864, the magnificent Hook Organ is the visual centerpiece of the Great Hall and an important part of Mechanics Hall’s musical history.

No audition or previous choral experience is required. Singers only need curiosity, a love of music, and a willingness to learn alongside others.

Before the concert comes the discovery.

Many Voices rehearsals are filled with warmups, musical games, focused learning, laughter, listening, and those exciting moments when separate voices begin to become one ensemble.

Our singers are supported by musicians and teaching artists who help them develop healthy vocal skills while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and self-expression.

Many Voices singers have shared their music at concerts, community celebrations, civic events, and Worcester Railers games.

These experiences give young people opportunities to grow more comfortable onstage, represent their community, and discover just how far their voices can carry.

Young musicians learn to listen across the ensemble, adjust their voices, follow a conductor, respond to one another, and contribute to a shared sound.

Those same skills—attention, cooperation, communication, and flexibility—help young people far beyond the rehearsal room.
