It is fun to go through old albums and boxes of art, and see some of my old pen and ink work. Pen and ink used to be my favorite thing to do, before I started painting with acrylics. in fact, selling detailed pen & ink house portraits was my thing for a while.

Here are a few of the new animal pendants I will be selling at my upcoming art event (see comments for details), and after that I will carry them in one of the local stores that carry my art.

Working on a little painting of "our" wild cardinals: Chippy, Mrs Chippy and their young'un "CJ" (Chippy Junior). Now, as it happens, CJ grew up to be a female (you can never tell with those young cardinals!) and presumably went off on her own. So now we are back to just the parents, so-named for the "Chip Chip Chip" sound they like to make.

I'm working on a new collection of little chicken paintings that I'll be bringing to an event in September. I can't wait to see if people like them!

One of the new animal pendants I plan to put into a local store soon. This one would be a perfect gift for a "cat lady."

I recently did five new little 4"x4" chicken paintings--these are the first to be made into cards.
