It was a pleasure to share the wonder of the season with you at the 45th Holiday Pops!

The orchestra would like to thank soprano soloist Jane Shivick, tenor soloist Christon Carney, The Salisbury Singers, Inc. with Director Reagan Paras, the Middlesex County Volunteers Fifes & Drums led by John Nichols, and Step Dancers from the Murphy Academy of Irish Dance directed by Elizabeth, Bridget, and Erin Murphy.

And special thanks to you for attending and celebrating the season with our orchestra! We will see you in 2026!

We have spent all year looking forward to celebrating the holidays together. This will be an unforgettable evening full of holiday cheer. Our annual holiday spectacular begins at 8pm!

The 45th Holiday Pops will feature an original composition by our Composer in Residence Jacob Snider. Step Dancers from the Murphy Academy of Irish Dance will perform to Jacob’s “Steps to a Gathering: An Irish Celebration.”

This fabulous creative collaboration will be presented on Saturday night!

Our Principal Conductor Myron Romanul will lead our ensemble for the 45th Holiday Pops!

Myron is a Grammy-award winning musician who performs around the world. He is the First Kapellmeister of the Nationaltheatre in Munich, Germany and is a frequent guest conductor at His Majesty's Theatre in Perth, Australia.

Myron will be with our orchestra this Saturday in Mechanics Hall!

We are thrilled to present Middlesex County Volunteers Fifes & Drums as part of our 45th Holiday Pops! They will join us on December 13 in Mechanics Hall.

This esteemed ensemble performs martial, dance, and folk music, both historic and contemporary, in formal 18th century uniform. Their presentation will be a special part of our 2025 program. We are excited to perform together and are excited for you to see them!

We are sharing a look back at part of La Mère Gigogne from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, performed as part of our 2024 presentation of Holiday Pops! This festive classic is part of a varied program of holiday delights!

Our 2025 holiday celebration combines our orchestra with a wonderful chorus, incredible Irish step dancers, a spectacular fife and drum ensemble, and superb vocal and instrumental soloists! We look forward to sharing all this and more with you this December!

Our 45th Holiday Pops features the incredible vocals of Christon Carney!

Christon regularly performs as soloist and has added stunning vocals to our holiday celebration for several years. He is the Education & Outreach Manager at Mechanics Hall and serves as Managing Director of Many Voices: Mechanics Hall Youth Singers.

The Murphy Academy of Irish Dance is based in Grafton, MA and is under direction of award-winning choreographers Elizabeth, Bridget, and Erin Murphy.
