Hey Fitchburg! We're coming to you May 30th, teaming up with FAM for their “FESTIVAL: A Celebration of African Art at the Fitchburg Art Museum” registration IS required, link in comments. See you there!

Join us on Saturday, May 30 for our drumming workshop with Crocodile River Music! In connection with our exhibition “FESTIVAL: A Celebration of African Art at the Fitchburg Art Museum” and inspired by the music of Mali, West Africa, play African drums while you learn traditional rhythms straight from the source! Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to attend.

Grateful to collaborate with Music Worcester, Inc.! Looking forward to our next one together!

Thank you to our co-presenters this season: Crocodile River Music, Prior Performing Arts Center, and The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts. Together with these partners, we presented three extraordinary ensembles at three venues across Worcester: Ladysmith Black Mambazo, American Patchwork Quartet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Thanks for helping make this season special!

Their June 13 exhibition features 9 artists of African descent within Worcester county showcasing their artwork that celebrates Africa's powerful journey in world football. Tune in for more details!
