🌸June 9th 2023🌸

That was the day my life completely changed forever and I found a lump in my left breast.

FUN FACTS:
•I shaved my head the same day Sinead O’Conner died.

•I did 6 rounds of intense chemo therapy every 3 weeks, for 3 months.

•I had multiple surgeries, I did immunotherapy for a whole dang year and I had 32 rounds of radiation.

• I celebrated being cancer free in Disney.

• I rang the freaking BELL and celebrated being out of radiation in Key West.

• When it was all said and done, I threw a fu***ng disco!

I am happy to say that I am now 3 years out, cancer free, but nothing will ever be same.

I don’t always enjoy talking about this time in my life, but I know sharing my experience and talking with others who have been diagnosed has helped them, and me cope with this new reality.

I am beyond grateful to be here, be alive and to be able to share more time on earth. I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and want to thank you for always supporting me and never giving up.

This is a friendly and caring reminder, to check your breasts. Not just in October, but every month.
