The Buffone Skating Arena is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public ice skating facility, managed by FMC Ice Sports (Facility Management Corporation) since 1995. The arena is a full service skating facility offering an extensive variety of skating programs for all ages and abilities. The facility features facilities for birthday parties as well as a snack bar and a lights out, live DJ public skate

Registration for Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Fundraiser & Competition 2026 being held 6/25 to 6/28 at the Aleixo Arena in Taunton is now open.
Every skater participating contributes to a donation being given to the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and its local affiliates.
Skaters of all ages and skill levels, those who’ve never competed or who compete regularly, can participate in a variety of events - individual, partner, team and more.
Spectators and volunteers will be able to help contribute as well.

FMC Ice Sports is proud to announce the 2026 FMC Skaters Scholarship!

Open to New England high school seniors who have skated at FMC arenas, this scholarship recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both on and off the ice.
Since 1993, we’ve awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to more than 450 graduating seniors continuing their education. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement, and leadership and accomplishments on the ice.

We are honored to support ice hockey, figure skating, and recreational skaters as they take the next step in their educational journey.

🗓 Application deadline: May 1, 2026
Scholarships will be awarded in June.
