Concert at First U on Saturday. April 29.
8:00 p.m. Four First U Choir members join the Halalisa Singers. Fun concert with eclectic music. Wonderful jazz and upbeat orchestration!
General admission: $25. High School and College Students with id-$15. Appropriate concert for middle schoolers, too, whose admission is free.

Covid Policy: Masks are optional for audience members and singers, at this time, but we do recommend audience members wear masks and be fully vaccinated.

The JHH Open Mic continues to grow! About 65 people, 23 slots filled on 3/10/23; a JOYFUL experience listening to the performances of three high schoolers, "newer comers", as well as those of our "seasoned" performers. The house band, "House Dressing" (Sten, Bill, Rick, Bob) played. The new Bose sound system is easy to set up and produces great sound. Next OM on 3/24.

The lyrics of the song are from the prose poem by Kitty O'Meara, entitled: "In the Time of the Pandemic". She has a blog site called, "The Daily Round". Joe obtained permission from her to add music to the poem.

In early 2020 Catherine (Kitty) O'Meara wrote a poem called "And the People Stayed Home" and shared it publicly where it met a warm reception as it comforted...

We had a sell-out crowd for the Green Sisters. We had to turn people away because we couldn't fit anyone else in our venue. Thank you for your support.
