-Studio Vitruvius / New Guidlines and Procedures-
As of reopening Friday, May 15th we have new guidelines and procedures which are as follows:
-The studio for the time being will be operating by appointment only. All people wanting to get a tattoo must call or message us ahead of time to secure an appointment date and time with their preferred or first available artist. No walk ins will be allowed for the time being and the front door will stay locked throughout the day, and only be opened for scheduled appointments. If you’d like a tattoo same day, we will try our best to accommodate you. This all will depend on if there is an artist available to tattoo you and if one is available you will be required to wait in your vehicle until that artist is ready for you.
-Only one person will be aloud per artist at a time. Sorry but you’ll have to leave your friends at home. This still applies to couples and/or friends wanting matching tattoos however, the other person/s may wait outside in the parking lot and come in for their tattoo when the other’s is finished and that person has exited the building.
-Customers will be required to wear a face mask to enter the building and must wear it the entire time they are inside of the building. All artists of Studio Vitruvius Tattoo reserve right to refusal for any person/s not following this guideline. All artists will be wearing a face mask when inside the building as well. (No gloves are permitted to be worn by customers while inside the studio)
-Hand sanitizer will be provided to you immediately upon entering the studio so that we know hands are clean before touching any surfaces in the studio.
-Your artist will assist you once you’ve entered the building, on where to go and what to do. We will try to make this process as smooth as possible for everyone.
-In an effort to aid in contact tracing, each person will be required to sign in and sign out of the studio with their name and the time they entered/exited
-If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness whatsoever or if you’ve been in contact or possible contact with someone who has or may have COVID-19 STAY HOME! Our advice.. when In doubt, wait it out! And stay home.
-Any out of state clients will be refused service at this time unless they can show proof that they have underwent a 2 week self quarantine upon entering Ohio, and show no signs or symptoms of COVID-19. If you live in Ohio but have recently traveled outside the state or country, please stay home until you have self quarantined and can assure your not sick.
-All appointments that were canceled due to the March 18th closure will be rescheduled in the order they were canceled and take priority over any new appointments. Please contact your artist directly if you have questions about this or to see if their books are currently open.
-At this time deposits for appointments may be waived (or) they may be requested via PayPal, Venmo, etc. depending on each artists personal preferences. Any person that has a waived deposit fee for a scheduled appointment and no call no shows their artist will be refused further service. Please call us in advance if you can’t make it! As long as we have decent notice of a cancelation we’ll be happy to work with you and reschedule you.

Just an update that we will be re-opening the shop this Friday, May 15th at 12:00pm! There will be a live video Thursday evening at 6pm to cover the latest operating rules and procedures that we will be following as we get back to work. Can’t wait to see you all again! Its’ been waaaay to long.

**COVID-19 UPDATE**

After much thought and deliberation between the artists at Studio Vitruvius, the health department, and advice from our state and national officials, Studio Vitruvius tattoo will be closed as of Thursday, 03/19/2020 until further notice. We gave it our best shot but as of now we have surpassed what we deem the acceptable risk to operate. In the best interest of our clients, families, friends and personal health and safety, we believe this is the best decision at this time. As I’m writing this I’m also being told that Governor Dewine has just shut down tattoo parlors in the state of Ohio effective today as of 5:30pm. That obviously even more solidifies the decision to close. We thank each and every one of you for the amazing support throughout this crisis and we look forward to re opening as soon as possible! Artists will be in contact with any scheduled appointments throughout this closure to reschedule you as soon as possible and/or make any other arrangements. During the closure I do have to ask that all people’s interested in getting a tattoo or having questions about a tattoo please refrain from contacting us. We are going to have a lot going on within our own lives dealing with this endeavor and a lot of changes to make throughout, which will make it very difficult to get back to you in a timely manner. We look forward to keeping you updated on any new information that’s comes in regards to reopening and look forward to serving you as soon as possible! Thank you again so much everyone! I want to wish you all good health and peace through these crazy times, and again our thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you. WITH THAT BEING SAID, WE WILL REMAIN VIGILANT TO THESE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS AND AT FIRST SIGHT OF ANY ILLNESS WITHIN THE STUDIO, WE WILL IMMEDIATELY CEASE BUSINESS UNTIL PROPER TESTING AND VERIFICATION CAN TAKE PLACE PROVING WHETHER OR NOT COVID-19 IS PRESENT WITHIN AN INDIVIDUAL OR INDIVIDUALS WORKING WITHIN THE STUDIO.
AS PER NEW OPERATING PROCEDURES, WE REQUEST THAT YOU PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL IN ANY CAPACITY OR IF YOUVE HAD CONTACT WITH ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN RECENTLY ILL.

DURING THIS TIME WE ARE GOING TO USE TECHNOLOGY TO THE BEST EXTENT WE CAN TO HELP THE BUSINESS FUNCTION WITH LIMITED FOOT TRAFFIC. DUE TO CONSULTATIONS THROUGH VIDEO, WE WILL BE WAIVING THE NEED FOR DEPOSITS AT THIS TIME, HOWEVER, IF YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT AND NO CALL NO SHOW AN ARTIST, WE WILL REFUSE TO WORK WITH YOU ANY FURTHER.
