Buckeye Book Fair hosts author events and an annual book fair. You can buy signed books to help support Ohio authors and Ohio literacy projects.

Anne Blackburne brings heartfelt storytelling and a touch of mystery to the 2026 Buckeye Book Fair. She is from Cambridge, Ohio, where she lives with her daughter and their spoiled poodle, Millie. Anne writes Amish romance featuring relatable young women determined to find their happy ever after, even when it means defying authority, taking personal risks, or solving a hundred‑year‑old murder. Each heroine gets a little help from her cat, and one brave kitty even attacks a killer. Visitors can stop by Anne’s table to collect her popular kitty swag and talk about the stories behind her memorable characters.

Anne shared, “I'm thrilled to be included as an author at the Buckeye Book Fair, an event that supports literacy, especially among youth. Some of my favorite Ohio authors will be there, and I am both honored to be among them and happy for a chance to meet them.” Her enthusiasm reflects the welcoming spirit and community that make the Fair such a beloved tradition.

Looking over the layout online is the easiest way to make your Buckeye Book Fair day smoother. A quick scan helps you plan your route, mark your must‑see authors, and decide where to start.

Steve Arnold shared, “It will be an honor to be a participant in the Buckeye Book Fair. A wide range of authors and books will be present. There will be a tremendous amount of knowledge that can be gained at this great event.”

Steve Arnold, from Warren, Ohio, was the first African American head basketball and football coach in the history of Warren athletics. David Lee Morgan Jr. has been a sportswriter and author for more than thirty years, including fifteen with the Akron Beacon Journal. His long career covering Ohio sports gave him open access to LeBron James during his years at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, offering a rare front‑row view of a young phenom whose talent and drive would carry him into the NBA and toward certain election to the NBA Hall of Fame as one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Morgan’s book, The LeBron Phenomenon: My Front‑Row Seat to History, captures those personal, exciting, and nostalgic moments. It gives readers an inside look at the early years of an athlete whose impact on basketball and global sports culture continues to grow.

A lifelong resident of Wayne County, Sue Ann returns to the Buckeye Book Fair with her second cookbook, created as Ohio’s contribution to celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary. Her first cookbook, the Ohio Bicentennial Collectors Cookbook published in 2003, was warmly received and helped cement her love of preserving Ohio’s culinary heritage.

Sue Ann is constantly adding to her private collection of more than seven thousand cookbooks, and she hopes to be included in the Guinness World Records one day soon. Her passion for recipes, history, and community shines through every page she creates.
