Last Saturday we were all hit in the face when we got word that Steve had been transferred from Wooster Hospital to Cleveland Main Campus. After testing negative for covid19 twice he underwent more testing. This week hasn't been our week. We are asking our racing community and friends and family to keep our "Tire guy" in your thoughts and prayers. Steve has been diagnosed with liver and lung cancer. 2020 hasn't been good for any of us, however Steve is facing this alone as there are no family or visitors allowed in the hospitals at this time. Please keep him and his family (2 boys) in your prayers.
There are trying to set him up on a treatment plan and in hopes he can come home on Saturday.
Not only has Steve been a part of our racing team for 20 years and only missed maybe 4 races he is a loyal friend.

Just getting started or looking to improve your game...Wayne Lanes Summer Coaching Doubles League begins Monday, May 8th at 5:00 PM. Cost is $8 per week. This league is open to all bowlers of any age or skill level. Wooster Students who have interest in bowling in high school, start improving your game over the summer!

Good turnout today...thanks to all! Also got to see something pretty cool as Chris Mark (a.k.a. The Kid) finished the event with 29 natural strikes in a row. I guess he didn't understand you only had to knock down 9!

Youth Bowlers! Are you ready for a new season? Here are the details for what we are doing this fall and winter....

You can sign up at the Wayne from now, until we start September 13th. And of course you can just sign up that first morning. Sanction fee this year is just $4.00, and covers all sessions and tournaments thru July 31st 2015.

From Sept.13th thru Oct. 25th we are going to have "Flex Bowling". Doors will open at 9am. Practice starts at 9:15 and bowling for score starts at 9:30 What is flex bowling? It's simple really...every bowler will have their own pay envelope and recap sheet. Then you are welcome to hop on a pair of lanes with anyone you want. AND BOWL! You can even move around and bowl with different people each game if you wish. All the games you bowl you will record on your recap sheet. Those scores will be used to determine your average for any USBC tournaments you may chose to bowl in. You may bowl as few as 1 game or as many as 6 games that day depending on what you want to do. Cost for 1 game is $3, 2 games is $6, 3 games is $9, if you want to bowl more...games 4,5, and 6 ARE FREE!

If you have schedule conflicts on Saturday morning, you can come in anytime Wayne Lanes has open bowling (excluding Fri. & Sat. nights) Just ask the desk personel for a lane, your envelope and recap sheet.

From November 1st thru January 25th, we will have team bowling. Bowlers will be placed on teams and will bowl a schedule of matches. This year those matches may also include baker competition.

Then from February 1st thru March 22nd we will have another session of flex bowling. The Ohio womens inter city tournament is in town, so we will need to start earlier and bowl betwween 8:30 am and 11 am. This session will be discounted to just $2 a game, or $5 for all you can bowl until 11 am.
