Description:
PG was used as the symbol for Project Gallery. The quote is used to show that PG is a voice, a group of people that function as a unit. The sharp edged characteristics of the figures showcases the subject and frames the entire logo.

The Plight of the Underdog

I am weak I am beat
I do not know the terrain but I approach all the same
It is war
Who knows who and who knows what
There are those fortunate enough
To know the codes and the secrets
And thus they thrive and survive

Not one among us know the other
It is not as though we are brother and sister
We are no kin
But we are all kindred spirits
All of them lost
Me just a little bit more found than they

There are heroes
It was a dream yet way more than just a dream
A path that many will soon follow for years to come
They are heroes and we all can be if we so choose it

I saw Iron Man yesterday
He sang upon the stages
And beat his gongs and crystal brass
I wonder what his struggles were
What moves him and makes him stagnate

He has moved me by giving me a night I will never forget
Let me know when he had dreamt
Because it was clear to me that he had lead

I saw Trinity and Morpheus two Fridays ago
They had led me here

Such a depraved way of living
When we all drank from the same coolade
Some got the worst and some got the best out of it
Unfortunately I got clarity

Yet
I am bound by chains, I cannot touch
Like my masters before me
They neither bragged nor reached for laurels
Yet they are known to have struck the hearts of many
I beg the world listen to us
Unbreak our hearts and lead our youth to reason
Where is the light of liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness
When none of us act upon it

Spartacus:
Do not think to place your loss upon equal footing
No soon took upon the republic
The same one that saw my innocent wife torn from grasps and condemned to slavery and death

Crassus:
And now you would lead thousands to join her in futile attempt

Spartacus:
Whatever happens to my people, it happens because we choose it.
We decide our fates not you, not the Romans, not even the Gods

Crassus:
You choose but time and place of journey’s end

Spartacus:
Better to fall by the sword than by the masters at lash

Crassus:
And will it bound festering wound
if the Bringer of Rain heralds miracle and defeats crassus and his legions,
will he withdraw from the republic content that he has brought those who has so injured him to justice

Spartacus:
There is no justice
Not in this world

Crassus:
At last. A thing we agree upon.

Spartacus:
When we again meet, I will kill you.

Crassus:
No. You are going to try.

Spartacus:
It is all a free man can do.

Bearing

There are things that do make it foul
Where the mind cannot cope
For each that catch my breath
My body doth malady
Do I for one make one, another?
I cannot do
I cannot do
Instead must sit or lie
And look on as lips dare move

So ether may flee from that portentous blackness
Hush the wind speaks, it says
And it must and it must lie
For truth makes it so
Unbearably vexing, do tell
I must, to this hear weightless air?

That he who owns those baby blues
With his honey colored brow,
With golden curls and font of phi
Fie, the terra holds none else by Jove
But young David’s brawn
And his languid pose
That all must swoon and so must reason loose

Or must she be with pearly skins
Or that which catch the light, hazel be
Must it be bodied sinuous,
Matching the line of fall?
That we to this must be

Perhaps even beasts of prey be better brutes
Than our cultured flock
Must lightly loose the sight of day

Bear thy back the blighted poor
To strive for thus will only be
To leave the dirt and reach for cotton clouds
And so be none but empty air

With which none can find the fault
Between the two which crime is better be
If balance be a near impossibility

Strangers

The coffee maker broods
A lowly hush
Apart the music sweeps
Across the room

The night befall yet daybreak never stalls
That seamless time
Be more but none
The tenure of our minds

Be here we still the life we love
No more than just a day
At star bucks
Sipping tasteless gilded cash

That love of life
To choose this box
To cage, to hide
To this that sweet, sweet folly
Man has ever begot

Much like this tasteless taffy
Or rather perhaps too sweet
That I for one
Deprived of senses past
Am left to see these faceless hacks

Listen intently
The noise gets louder every time
That my friend is the sound of people
Each with their own affairs in mind

On Becoming Manic

I’ve dreamt of the greening fields
Beneath the monochrome beyond the scheme
There lies the glut of a wandering c**k and a burgeoning fiend

He was a master of sorts
A drupaceous mongrel, one of a kind
And she was the diamond of a fidgeting Po**ck
bare, back and breasted, high as the sky
hollowed, bred and borne of such tragedy
Lady Lazarus succumbs to pitted huffs of Incubi

Yes, Herr Dominus,
Let us crack that whip and let those rubies flow
Yes, Herr Dominus,
Stained red goes all too well with satiety
Tell me, Herr Dominus
Should an eagle refuse flight?

A lot of good it did me
when that rugged man fell to ash
so shall we

Buried deep beyond that rolling rust
grovel you grueling Reichstag
I am stone and I do not move along with you
Paint the dust beneath my feet
And move me beyond your meaning
I have that raw torn skin, you see

And it keeps nicking and nicking
How never could I draw the green
I am all but wastelands
Dusks and dawns matter not to me

Description: A microcosmic representation of the individual against the world. We're all floating in space. Blank slates until we find a direction.
