Who gave you a tissue to dry? Was it for me that the tears should pour? Did you think you'd walk away and bully? Who gave you a tissue without giving you more? That's a clever tissue trick. You twisted and turned, burning lives. Did you think you'd get away and celebrate? Well, count your blessings, because it's too late. Are they impartial and professional, as part of their oath? The years that will pass will bring no chance for growth. Let him wipe away nothing and nothing he’ll be.A crumpled tissue, his memory of me. -Emmanuel 💙

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR DASH
What is The Dash? It’s the smallest bit of punctuation, but it holds so much meaning. The dash represents the amount of time between your birthdate and death date. What will you do with this precious amount of time gifted to you? Let this quote inspire you to make the most of the time you have, your dash!-NOT MINE

Rain on January 1st
The thunder that followed
Banging up against my roof
The puddles bellow are swallowed

Never rain in January
New Year’s Day was more
left over frozen piles of snow
From snow storms weeks before

Now to realize all these changes
Are not just happening to me
For the planet and precipitation
Are actually changing what we

Ourselves don’t realize is happening
We work in sync to be
An impression on our existence
A mark on history

It never rains in January
I had to open my window
In the dark to hear
The pounding of the drops
nearby
The smell of dew everywhere

Happy New Year 2025

“It was an on-and-off process of healing. One day, I thought I could make it, and then the next day, I was back to zero again. It was a constant cycle of getting up and stumbling. I was easily triggered and hardly revived. This is why I have boundaries that are tall and thick. My truths aren’t always clear, and my pages aren’t always filled. It took me a long time to love myself enough that I couldn’t risk trusting another soul to do the loving for me.”
