The first time she was ever able to use a digital camera was around the age of 9. Her mother let her use her digital camera for the first time. She was amazed at all the different ways you could take pictures, and decided to pursue her love of photography. It wasn’t until she was 10 that she got her first camera. It was a type of Nikon, Nothing fancy but it got the job done. By the age of 15, she
finally bought her first DSLR camera, a Nikon Coolpix L120. Amanda has always spent her free time taking pictures of anything that interests her. Her passion mostly consists of photographing wildlife, animals, landscape, wilderness, and occasionally people. At the age of 16, Amanda joined the Photography club at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. Learning many new things from someone who had a passion for photography as well, she started learning new techniques and ways of taking better pictures. About Sorrow Whisper Photography~
Located in Rhode Island, it was originally founded in 2008, its original name was “Welcome to my World Photography”. In early 2012 the name changed to what it is today due to a good friend's dog passed. The name Whisper intrigued Amanda, and she always loved looking at Whisper's pictures taken by Univix. With the change in name, came a change in the way photography was looked upon by Amanda. Trying to expand and show her photographs to the world, she created a Flickr account in 2008. With this, she would learn more tools of the trade to make Sorrow Whisper Photography a better, and all around more professional looking gallery. Sorrow Whisper Photography Achievements~
