Founded in 2011 by Lezley Meyer, Ignite Dance Company trains dedicated, young dancers in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Street Styles. Ignite Dance Company aims to develop young dancers' self-awareness, muscle control, strength, grace and artistry. Lezley Meyer, Waco's premiere choreographer, leads her companies to the finals of Nationals' competitions annually. Her choreography has won first
place championships in Daytona Beach, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Kansas City. Ignite brings in Master teachers and choreographers from across the nation throughout the year. Company members are selected by audition only. Our teaching staff: Lezley Meyer - Studio Owner, Company Director, Company Lyrical/Jazz/Tap/PBT/Conditioning classes, and Teen/Senior Company Choreographer; Melana Villa - Jr Company Director, Jr Co Choreographer, Recreational teacher; Isabelle Green - Company Ballet/Pointe teacher/Choreographer; Kamber Kelley - Studio Ballet/Tap/Jazz/Hip Hop teacher; Rebekah Anderson - Pre-School and Creative Movement teacher; Macie Everitt - Studio Hip Hop teacher; JoAnn Beheler - Studio teacher/Choreographer; Laney Horton - Pre-School teacher. We also offer classes for those not interested in the competition scene: Pre-school Classes, Creative Movement Classes, Hip Hop, Beginner through Intermediate Ballet/Tap/Jazz/Lryical Classes. Classes are open to Ages 18 months through 18 years.
