We are the oldest continuously running theatre group in Woodstock, NY. Tickets for current shows may be purchased at paw.simpletix.com 🎭 PAW is a not-for-profit year-round local theater organization presenting new and established plays of quality since 1964, when it was founded by Eda Crist and Edie LeFever. PAW is the oldest, continuously running theater organization in the history of Woodstock! For 60 years, Performing Arts of Woodstock has been mounting quality productions of both new and classic plays -- artistically challenging plays such as True West, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Dresser, The Good Woman of Setzuan, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Twelfth Night, Breaking the Code, Endgame, to name just a few from the last several years. You can view a complete list of the plays PAW has produced by visiting our website: http://performingartsofwoodstock.org/
It's a lot of hard work, and we love every minute, but we are seeking more help to maintain our high artistic standard. We're looking for a few good people (heck, as many as we can get) to help in technical areas such as set-building, lighting, props, costumes, and stage management. Experience is joyfully welcomed (though not necessary), enthusiasm ecstatically. If you're an actor, watch for audition announcements. Anyone interested kindly contact our fearless leader and founding mother Edie LeFever at (845) 679-7900.
