Thanks to all the racers and fans for an amazing night at the track!
Pro
The Pro final featured Harold Coates and Jase Beams. Harold, in the left lane, dialed a 5.31, while Jase, in the right lane, dialed a 5.98. When the tree dropped, Jase posted a solid .025 reaction time. Harold had been cutting the tree down all night with several .00 reaction times, but in the final he pushed it just a little too far, turning on the red light by only .006 seconds. That red light handed the victory to Jase Beams. Congratulations to both drivers on a great performance!
Footbrake
The Footbrake final featured two of the toughest competitors around, Chris Strange and Brad Ford. With both drivers known for finding their way to the winner’s circle, it had all the makings of an exciting showdown. Brad, in the left lane, dialed a 6.07, while Chris, in the right lane, dialed a 6.48. When the tree dropped, Chris was nearly perfect, posting an incredible .001 reaction time. Brad was right there with him, leaving with a strong .021 light. At the finish line, both drivers were locked in. Chris ran a 6.504 on his 6.48 dial, while Brad posted a 6.083 on his 6.07 dial. When the numbers were totaled, Chris edged-out Brad by just .009 seconds to claim the Footbrake victory. It was a great final round between two outstanding racers. Congratulations to Chris Strange on the win, and great job to both drivers on a fantastic performance!
Junior Dragster
The Junior Dragster final paired two talented young racers, Wraylon Harrell and Reese Noah, for an exciting matchup. When the tree dropped, both drivers were ready, but Reese turned on the red light by just .003 seconds, giving Wraylon the automatic victory. While the final was decided early, both racers did a great job making it to the final round and representing the future of our sport. Congratulations to Wraylon Harrell on winning, and great job to both young drivers on a fantastic performance!
