The next house show is just a few days away!! Our third musician is ! Come give a listen to this young rising star!! Here is a little info about Mason:
Sixteen-year-old Atlanta singer/songwriter Mason Embers has a mission: influence his listeners to feel the range of human emotion. Blending a multitude of styles and writing reflective lyrics showcasing the aspects of our thoughts and feelings, Embers sets a vivid picture of life.

Gravitating to music from a very young age, Embers developed a natural ability to sing. He remained an interested listener, never planning to personally pursue music. However, after a sudden desire to learn, he began guitar lessons at age twelve. His progression was quick and his songwriting ability was instantly recognized: less than a week into lessons, he had written his first song. From there, Embers has gone on to write his upcoming debut concept album, The Good, The Bad, The Everything In Between.

Abby Hermes, Jiiriart, is our second artist for this upcoming show! She is an extremely talented artist and instructor. Be sure to come by the show to see her other-worldly pieces. Here is some info about Abby: “Abby Hermes (Jiiri) is an Atlanta-based Artist and Art Instructor with dynamic periods of engagement in multiple fields of the Arts such as illustration, academics, tattoo, fashion, performance, and others that led to the development of their meditative psychedelic style.

The overall impact of these phases over the course of their career merged to create a unique style that spans over a wide variety of mediums and incorporates 'dream like' color schemes with content inspired by nature, the human form, dreams, environmentalism, gender, education, and invisible illness.

Along with their passion for fine art, Abby loves to create interactive, fun, and engaging atmospheres in educational environments and has been teaching Fine Art at KSU's Continuing Education OLLI program since 2015.

Some of Abby's favorite things are Platypi, crystals, plants, hiking, dancing in the rain, and having afternoon tea with their Grandmother.”

Another great musician we have for the next show is Greg Drews of . We are really excited about our line up! Here a little about Greg: Greg Drews is a singer-songwriter originally from Texas. He spent 10 years in Los Angeles creating original music, eventually composing for Media. After moving to Atlanta in 2014, he began writing vocal driven acoustic songs, combining roots, soul and folk.
In April 2019, he released “The Riverhouse Sessions” an album recorded live on the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge, GA. He followed with a full band release of the single “Austin” in October 2019 and returned to The Riverhouse in February 2020 for a second session with the band. "The Return" EP will be released in April 2020 - proceeded by a short film of the session in March 2020.

In other exciting news... The House Show is teaming up with !! David at Elevated Events is heavily involved in the local music scene, everything from booking events and musicians to open mic nights and listening rooms. If you are a local musician, David knows you and you know David! With David’s connections and influence, we can bring you even more of the great musicians in and around Cherokee County!! We are super excited for this addition to The House Show and for the changes coming this year!!

Here is Jay Marsh, one of our local artists. And he will be one of our talented visual artists for the March 7th show!! His amazing work and creativity will be on display, yiu wont want to miss it! Here is a little info about Jay: Jay fell in love with art as a form at an early age. Unlike many adults he continues to love the unity of form. This informs his soul as well as his family. The long play speaks to his infinite number of horizons. The primary hues found within his work show his ability to speak to the singularity which invites the simple and complex with equal hospitality. Jay lives in Woodstock with the love of his life and finds that working with his brother Alan Marsh is a treasure.

is one of our featured musicians at the next House Show!! Give some of his tunes a spin and come see him at the show!! Here’s a little info about him: Miles Landrum is an Atlanta-based contemporary singer-songwriter. Growing up in a small Georgia town left an indelible impression on his life. He jokes that he didn't listen to anything beyond contemporary christian music until he was eighteen, and that it took him until his late twenties to familiarize himself with the Beatles. Now, fans of the Beatles, Ruston Kelly, and Ray LaMontagne find his original music relatable and moving.

What we do:

The House Show is a place to come experience the inspiration of music and art.

Local artists will display some of their various pieces and offer a live-art experience. Come with some old friends or mingle and make some new ones while taking in the various media artwork.

Musicians will be here to help unwind from your busy day. With instruments at hand, take in the soulful, heartfelt swirling music and melodies as they surround you.

There is no cover charge or entry fee, but donations are strongly encouraged. It takes time and effort for these folks to do what they do, let’s show them how we appreciate it!!
