As you likely know, the Woodstock City Council has selected Red Oak Sanitation for the city of Woodstock’s trash and recycling service as of July 1, 2026. This is also when your Waste Management account became inactive.

If you haven’t already, you will need to set up service with Red Oak Sanitation.

Service will continue on Thursdays. Please have the containers out by Wed late. RedOak will continue to use your Waste Management containers.

If cars on the street block easy access, your pick up will be skipped!

🛑PLEASE do not DOUBLE PARK across the street from other vehicles in the road! These bottlenecks have been causing delays and BLOCKAGES for school buses, emergency vehicles and Amazon Deliveries, in some cases causing damages to community vehicles. Please be mindful of two way traffic when parking in the street! Thank you for being park of the solution! 🚒

If you are missing a package, receive the wrong one or have received your neighbor's mail by mistake, BE A GOOD HUMAN and please return it to the rightful owner as soon as possible! It seems that our mail person may be a little confused at times and Amazon runs are rampant. Please help us get these items back to where they should be. Thanks!

Our neighbor and community handyman, Bill Sherer is in need of your support! Because of a recent fall off of a ladder that resulted in broken ribs, bones and a punctured lung, Bill will be unable to work again until he regains total healing in order to do the type of physical labor he is used to - which you see everyday in our community but might not realize has been done out of his efforts, generosity and hard work. He has tirelessly completed so many projects for our community when needed. Will you please consider returning the favor and providing a donation to help him in his recovery and the surmounting bills from Grady hospital during his stay this previous week?
