A 2019 IDEA HAS BECOME A U.S. PATENT. 🇺🇸 written by Susie
After years of persistence, collaboration, problem-solving and thousands of gifts created along the way, we can finally say:
WE DID IT — THE NoWait™ Gift Box Kit HAS RECEIVED A U.S. PATENT!
This journey began with an idea, a lot of determination, and a passion for building something Made in the USA.🇺🇸
😷😷Then COVID hit. The landscape for small businesses locally was brutal, so we headed north to Wisconsin to introduce our service, our system and our product.
BNI became a critical and pivotal part of our story.
Richard introduced us to Jody at PFI Fashions, an incredible family business that understood at a high level what we were trying to create.
Then, during a networking event, Jennifer Wagner of American Community Bank asked me one simple question:
“What can I do for you?”
That question led me into the very capable hands of Maggie at L&M.
And after four years, something extraordinary happened.
We held our invention in our hands.
The vision was finally tangible. We had a prototype.
That prototype opened the door to the patent world and Anna K., a patent attorney with an incredible portfolio of patent success stories.
Meanwhile, thousands of gifts were being created under Patent Pending status. But the patent process became increasingly complex—documents, measurements, drawings and microscopic details that were difficult for us to navigate.
And then we met a guy named AI.
That changed everything.
It changed possible into probable.
And probable into:
WE DID IT.
Everything before AI was a dream. With AI, that dream could be analyzed, refined, documented and realized.
But inventions aren’t built by one person alone. I had the dream, the vision, the commitment, communication skills and resources but it needed a team.
A huge shout-out to Nancy T., an incredibly smart, talented and focused customer who studied our fabric prototype and then sewed, sewed, sewed all of our custom orders.
And Bettina, an amazing business connection and customer who creates the bows specifically for the way we build our gifts.
Every one of these people became part of the journey.
Today, the NoWait™ Gift Box Kit represents years of invention, persistence, collaboration and thousands of gifts made along the way.
And this is only the beginning.
The next chapter will take another army of amazing minds—helping us build name recognition, product awareness, American manufacturing and ultimately retail shelf presence.
From an idea in 2019…
to a prototype…
to Patent Pending…
to AI…
to a U.S. PATENT. 🇺🇸
