Director Bio: Jaron Packer has a BMA degree in Choral Conducting from Weber State University and a Masters in Religious Education from BYU. He has directed multiple choirs over the past 15 years, including children, youth, young adult and adult choirs. He currently is the director of North Front Sound a barbershop chorus in Davis County. His most cherished choral experience was directing President

Nelson's 364 voice Seminary Choir for the 2018 Worldwide Devotional. Ever since that event, it has been his dream to start this choir. Other:
I am currently a music publisher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am working on the new hymnal and the youth music. I taught seminary and institute for the church for 9 years. During that time I was able to teach institute choir for 2 years. Before that I taught high school and middle school choir and musicals for 5 years. I have directed multiple children and youth choirs through the years. When I'm not directing choirs, I enjoy mountain biking, golfing and hanging out with my family. We enjoy camping, hiking, gymnastics, and making silly videos. My kids have a dream to start a band called "The Packer 5".

We are excited to announce our upcoming ZYCO Summer Music Camp for children ages 6-18! We’ve been planning this camp for months and are so excited to share some details with you! This year, in place of weekly summer rehearsals, ZYCO has decided to do a week-long summer camp.

Dates June 15-19, 2026
Location: Community United Methodist Church 163 W. 4800 S. Ogden Utah

Cost: $15 non refundable registration fee is required
Tuition, which will be due in May, is $250 for the first child and $175 for each additional sibling.
Schedule: Each day will include classes, breaks, fun, and snacks. We ask that each student bring their own lunch Monday through Thursday.

Time: Monday-Thursday:10:00 am-3:00 pm
Friday 12:00 pm-7:00 pm with a pizza dinner provided for students.
Friday evening there will be a showcase for family and friends: 6:00 pm
