HONK! The Musical is officially onstage at EnKore Theatre Company, and after an incredible opening weekend, we’re so excited to keep sharing this wonderfully silly and heartfelt story with our community!

Behind every performance are weeks of rehearsals—learning music, building characters, practicing choreography, running scenes, making mistakes, trying again, and ultimately coming together as one incredible cast.

Our next EnKore Academy Series adventure is headed to Neverland!

Auditions for Disney’s Peter Pan JR. are coming up, but there’s one VERY important thing families need to know:

You must register for the Academy Series BEFORE auditions.

Our Academy Series works a little differently from a traditional audition. Students who register for the production are guaranteed to be part of the show. Auditions are then used to help our creative team get to know each performer, see their strengths, and determine where they’ll best fit within the production.

The Academy Series enrollment fee is $195 and secures your student’s place in the program.

Ages: 7–17
Auditions: September 13 & 14, 5:00–7:30 PM
Callbacks: September 16, 5:00–7:30 PM
Enrollment Fee: $195

So don’t wait until auditions to sign up! Register first, then come show us what you can do.

Yes, our Newsies JR. cast is working hard to learn their music, choreography, blocking, and lines—but what they're learning at EnKore goes far beyond one production.

Throughout the rehearsal process, we're taking time to teach the skills young performers can carry into every theatre they walk into next.

How do you read a musical theatre score? What does it mean when a music director says, “Start at measure 39”? How do you mark your music, watch a conductor, take notes quickly, use proper vocal technique, or prepare a 16- or 32-bar cut for an audition?

These are skills that take time to learn—and rehearsal is the perfect place to start.

Our goal isn't simply to put on a great production of Newsies JR.

It's to send our students into their next show, class, or audition a little more knowledgeable, a little more confident, and a little more prepared than when they walked through our doors.

We teach theatre, not just shows.

And we can't wait for you to see these young artists Seize the Day!
