Our mission at Woodland Dance Center is to encourage creativity and teach correct dance technique while maintaining a balance between fun and discipline. We believe that repetition is the key to this process. Through repetition, confidence grows and our dancers can easily see their progress as even “work” becomes fun. As teachers and dancers we will strive to meet WDC’s 5 goals of technique, progr
ess, creativity, discipline, and fun. If our students are not meeting these goals, then we are not doing our job. Once a love of dance is found an individual never loses it. It is a gift and passion that will always remain with them. We at WDC hope our students come to love dance as much as we do. We also hope the lessons we teach in dance class through these goals will bring success in whatever they choose to pursue in their lives!
