Come join us on Friday, November 28, 2025 for our Third Annual Christmas Tree Lighting!! Let's begin the Christmas season with photos with santa at Old Waters Inn at Wedowee from 2:30-4:30, festivities by the Christmas tree beginning at 5:00PM and Wake & Shake Donut Shop will be there serving hot cocoa free of charge (generously sponsored by First State Bank). Can't wait to see you there!!

Come early, take a leisurely walk through town, do a little shopping (or a lot), get a bite to eat, grab a picture with Santa, then make your way over to the tree lighting!!

Today, my husband, Brian is 68-years-old. To celebrate, he is doing what he wants to do all day; just relax, and enjoy the outdoors tending to his muscadine vines, blueberry bushes, kiwi, and a backyard deck adorned with his favorite potted plants, whether in the greenhouse or out free to admire. That grill will be in attendance to complete the senses for a mouth-watering smoked-aromatic backyard kitchen; an aroma I appreciate so so much.
Help me wish this kind-hearted, loving, handsome man that trusts God for all our needs: a Happy Birthday.
I love you, Brian Ward immensely, ❤️❤️; you are a gift from God as many would agree.
