Hey FB friends, hope everyone is doing well.
So, after what feels like a century of self-marketing stage, my film Since August is finally premiering today, August 16th, 2023 at 7PM PST online.
The wait has been longer than the writers strike picket line, I know 🙂
Some of you might remember that it all began way back in the dark ages of 2011 when we were still rocking flip phones. Good times!!
Since then, so many things have occurred across the spectrum of human existence.
Life happened. Some ups and some downs, sometimes downs lasting longer than the ups, but I guess that's what we signed up for.
As we all know, Hollywood has been operating on a very outdated system for decades, basically its all about who you know, unfortunately, but I'm on a mission to help end it.
That is why I've made a choice to offer my films for free and have the audience decide what they want to pay for them and make movies accessible to everyone.
My films might be very tiny in scale and I know it will take some time, but if we all do our part the change is inevitable.
A lot of awesome people helped make this project a reality over the years and a lot of them have been helping with the publicity at this stage.
All the key people during production and in the marketing stage worked pro-bono, so it would be really nice to be able to pay them back now.
NOTE: My website is the ONLY platform I'm using to show the film, it's not going to be available anywhere else.
