For one day only, we’re borrowing the title of MOTOR CITY because Woodburn is about to have enough horsepower packed into one little town to earn it.

In the last 15 years, we have been blessed to meet a lot of great people.

One of the best is my friend Trace and his Grandpa John. If we are going to be somewhere Trace and his grandpa John are there as well. At least during one of my three annual summer camp visits to Camp Red Cedar, Trace was there. Not sure many birthday parties I have done for Trace on his birthday... until just recently it was always just me and Trace. Couple years ago he allowed his grandma and grandpa John to come and meet the Animals. And last year he even allowed some Neighbor friends to come. They would come see us at the 4-H fair, but the most fun (next to his birthday )was always the Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show. I would give him a snake... I used to think he had a favorite, but he loved them all. And he would sit on one of my state of the art climate controlled animal carriers (yes it was a cooler) and tell people about the snake that he was holding. Most recently I was able to go visit him and he helped me with each of the animals sharing them with his new friends. Please keep Trace's family in your prayers, especially Grandpa John. I will miss you Trace!! so I won't cry because you're gone (OK that's a lie)... but I will smile because I knew you!
