Nearly four decades after Spaceballs turned merchandising into one of its most memorable jokes, Rick Moranis brought the gag back in a clever way. Wearing one of the newly released shirts, he invited fans to the Spaceballs: The New One panel at Hall H during San Diego Comic-Con. The announcement blended humor with nostalgia, celebrating one of the original film’s most iconic moments while building excitement for the franchise’s return. It also reminded longtime fans why Spaceballs continues to hold a special place in comedy history.

Happy Intergalactic Chocolate Day! Using chocolate as it was originally used, for currency! Looks like Leia has a good hand if Lola and her bracelet are in that pile with the chocolate 😉😎 With BenaeQuee Creations of Terrapin Base.

The battle for freedom is as old as time itself.
Just as the heroes of the Rebellion fought a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, so too did the forefathers of America fight for independence on this day in 1776.

Both rebellions began with courage, questionable logistics, and an unshakable belief in liberty. One ended with a Constitution. The other? With Ewoks dancing in the forest.

So today, whether you're lighting fireworks or rewatching A New Hope, just remember:

Freedom has always been the ultimate rebellion.

Happy Independence Day — and may the liberty be with you.
