Once I was warmed up, I created these travel themed ATCs for an in-person trade later this month!

Sometimes it’s just a little project you need to get your groove back after vacay!

These are kindness cards: little off cuts from larger projects that I save and add a little sentiment. I pass these out randomly when I meet someone that took an extra few minutes helping me or maybe that I chatted with for a bit!

You may or may not know that I am in a sewing course with an incredible instructor in the UK! It’s been so fun refreshing my knowledge ( I’ve been a confident sewist since I was about 8 yrs old……thanks Nana Vacchi)
These are just a few of the finished projects I have made, since November.

It’s not as straightforward to stitch something up any more…..there are pattern modifications, bust adjustments, custom design modifications, pattern matching. The biggest lesson is that you benefit greatly from breaking any sewing projects into smaller manageable sections to avoid frustration and giving up entirely. 🧵🪡

I’m loving it and having a ball sewing for myself again💕

The biggest bonus is that it feeds my mixed media art practice and my interior design projects! It’s a wonderful blend of all the things I love the most💕🎉
