Meet the students who work behind the scenes to make The Changeling happen!
âStage Manager - Emmaâ
Emma Lyall is an English major in her second year at UVA Wise. She previously was the Assistant Stage Manager for 9 to 5. As a lover of books, Emma is a big fan of the romantic era of writing as well as "Pride and Prejudice" and "The Great Gatsby".
âLight Operator - Miaâ
Mia is a Wise county native and a biology major with an arts minor at UVA-Wise. They are active in the arts but this is their first year doing tech for any play! Mia loves animals and being crafty in many different ways like crochet, quilting, drawing, and sewing. Mia cannot wait to help this production of changeling come to life!
âScenic designer/Lighting designer - Cedricâ
Along with Cedric's role as Tomazo on stage, he is also the Scenic designer, Lighting Designer, Assistant Technical Director, and Shop Carpenter.
â Dramaturg/Costume Designer - Celesteâ
When she isn't on the stage as Beatrice Joanna, Celeste is designing and constructing the costumes for this show. She has also been supplying research to the cast on The Salpetriere( the setting of this play) as well as on hysterical movement.
