🏠The cost of living is VERY reasonable in Wisconsin Rapids, WI; median house cost is under $200K; 2BR apartment is under $1K. These wages ARE in the MIT Living Wage range. Wisconsin state retirement is excellent. We're about an hour to the nearest Broadway touring house, 90 minutes to another, and two hours to a third.

🌟We have hosted a bunch of touring acts over the years (including American Players Theater which just won the rural Tony award) and it's a big social gathering spot for the county. (Thanks to Kristi Ross-Clausen who helped with this bio)
