Our community once again came through! Together, we raised $8,014 for Oliviah and her family to help them navigate the long road ahead, complicated by spina bifida. We also are excited to share that Oliviah and her mother are now home! They came home on Monday, January 5th, and were able to see our light show in person Monday night.

Oliviah's mom, Colleen, writes:
"On behalf of my husband, Jonathan King, myself, and our children, I would sincerely like to thank every individual who came to see the Konkol's lights and support Oliviah's spinal bifida journey, as well as our family as a whole. I thank God for the loving and supportive community that we are a part of. Your contributions helped in more ways than one: they helped keep our family together by allowing us a means for seeing one another. They helped with bills and food, and will help get Oliviah to her numerous appointments. Thank you to the Konkol's for choosing to sponsor us this year and for putting on such an amazing show. When I saw her face on the screen I was brought to tears watching it and thinking about how supportive many people have been toward us and our daughter. I am so happy I was able to see it in person. After 3 months in the hospital, I am pleased to say that Oliviah and I are finally home. Oliviah still has a long journey ahead of her with her condition. There will be many specialist caring for her needs. Thank you again to everyone for all the support!"

Just had to share a few updated pictures of baby Oliviah! She's doing well and is expected to stay in Children's Minnesota until mid-January. Her mother Colleen is at her side, and family got to visit for Thanksgiving last Friday. The 2025 Konkols Christmas Light Show is now running 5:00-10:00pm every night at 2730 31st St S, Wisconsin Rapids!

Drive on over, turn your headlights off, and tune your radio to 103.9FM to enjoy the show. NEW this year: If you don't have a radio, download the PulseMesh app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. When you are in front of our show, open the app and tap our show to listen to the lights.

We have 7 songs, including 4 new songs for 2025. We also brought back a favorite from a few years ago, Candy Cane Lane. The show repeats every 25 minutes. We may reduce the number of songs during peak traffic periods.

Keep in mind that we do not regularly have people directing traffic. We rely on our visitors to be courteous and to follow these rules:

1. Please park in the green areas on the map. Use the cul-de-sac to turn around. Pull over as far as possible and keep the center of the road clear for traffic.

2. Turn off your headlights.

3. Keep your radio volume to a reasonable level. Our neighbors should not be able to hear your radio from inside their homes.

4. As cars leave in front of you, pull forward to allow room for more cars behind you.

5. Drive slowly as you leave, and watch out for others.

6. It is best to take 32nd St to Grove Ave. During peak times, you may have to line up on the north side of Grove Ave before turning onto 31st St.

7. You are welcome to step out of your vehicle to enjoy the show, but please do not enter the show area as there are lots of tripping and electrical hazards. Please be careful as the road may be icy.
