Hi on this beautiful August day in Maine!
I will be showing again at Arts In the Barn in Cushing Maine at the final community show called "Creations in Cushing". A flyer for the exhibit is attached. Hope to see you at the reception - I will be there! I will also stop in at the gallery on Saturday and Sunday for a while after doing some plein air painting (weather permitting).

I have sold 17 paintings so for this year. Many, many thanks to my buyers!

Good afternoon! The reception for my show at Arts in the Barn in Cushing is tonight from 5 to 7 pm at the gallery. The title of the show is Maine Coast in Oils & Sculpture.

The paintings will be up Saturday August 15th, and Sunday August 16th from 10 to 4 both days.

The other artists are Bruce Bickford and Mark Christopher.

Attached are photos of the hung works and I will also have 10 bin art pieces as well.

Wine and refreshments will be served, including my caprese bites!

Friday August 14th is the reception for my show at the Arts in the Barn (AITB) in Cushing, Maine. Opening is from 5 to 7 with refreshments served. The show will also be on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th from 10 to 4 pm.

Good Morning - tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 8/13/26) I will be part of a panel of Plein Air (outdoor) artists at the Maine Art Gallery in Wiscasset. The talk starts at 4 with refreshments afterwards.

I will be part of a three person show at the Arts in the Barn, 17 Hathorne Point Rd, Cushing, Maine. The reception is Friday August 14th from 5 pm to 7 pm. The show will be up the following weekend, August 15th and 16th from 10 am to 4 pm. Some sample art works are attached along with a flyer.

I will have about 20 paintings there and 6-7 pieces of smaller bin art.

Hi more art announcements. I will be part of a panel discussion called "Why We Like Painting Plein Air" at the Main Art Gallery on Thursday August 13 from 4:30 to 6. I will give you a preview - "it's NOT the bugs and sunburn!). Should be informative and fun! Refreshments served afterwards.

I recently put two paintings of Hendrick's Head Beach on Southport Island in the Southport Island General store. They sold in about a day. I guess I am doing something right!

I also have submitted works for a juried plein air show at the Maine Art Gallery, 15 Warren Street, Wiscasset,where I am a volunteer and board member. These are plein air works I did this summer on Monhegan which I shared as samples of my work.

First painting is a view from the porch of the Trailing Yew toward Lighthouse Hill. The lighthouse is on the upper right. I loved the purple cushions and the homemade pennants. Felt sort of "Matissey" and ''Bonnardish" that day

The second is of White Head on the back, cliffside of the island. While painting it, I ran into the manager of the Boothbay Region Art Foundation and her sister! Small world...

The third painting is of the hanging laundry at the Yew which will be (hopefully) in the show at River Arts.

I also included some photographs of the works in progress and what I was painting.
