Geek in Stitches I create a variety of mixed media artwork including quilted acrylic painted artwork (LGBT themed, Pi I am a one Geek shop! Geeky crafting in process!

I design and created wide assortment of both Georgia themes and LGBT themed inclusive items. I work in both fabrics and acrylic canvases. My acrylic artwork is not just painted. I paint, cut and assemble my acrylic canvases just like traditional fabric quilting. I guarantee that you will find very unique one of a kind creations. I enjoy working with rainbow themes across all of my work with a focu

s on the theme Y'all Means All. I build all of my frames by hand with a miter saw, which means I am not constrained by specific sized artwork. I can be found at events throughout the year in Athens, GA. I am also slowly branching into Metro Atlanta, but my online shop carries everything that can be found at my physical events. Greetings from the Geek!

There are a few things afoot in the Geek Kingdom!

I'm thoroughly enjoying working with vinyl to create new organizers that are on the way soon. I also plan to develop smaller change sized pouches and possibly other designs.

AthFest is almost here - That's three days or music, food and festivities!

A new venture...
Reynolds Makery & Pulperia in Reynoldstown now has a selection of Emotional Support Chickens available! Their address is 180 Pearl St. SE Atlanta, GA 30316

I might also be looking for other locations later this year.

I may be adding additional August Saturdays at the Athens Farmers Market with a couple of dates shifting around. There are several pending applications at play that should become firm soon.

I'm making new Y'all Means All art w/ Progressive Pride Flags. It's a 10-12 day process to cut 11 raw canvases, prep for paint, paint them, cut 3/4" strips, sew them together, cut the Georgia shapes w/ 2 coats of glossy varnish. It's the same process for rainbow Vulcan salutes & communicators.

Greetings from the Geek!

I had a great time at Inman Park, Dunwoody and even Alpharetta over the last month.

I'm now excited to announce that I will be downtown Athens for both Athens PrideFest and AthFest, the 3 day music extravaganza in June!

Now that the Spring rush has settled down, I'm looking for more events after July 1. I should also be making my way back to the Winterville Marigold Market sporadically among other events that are pending.
