The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Garden in Winter Park, FL is dedicated to promote the legacy of internationally known Czech-American sculptor, Albin Polasek, and to enrich lives through the power of inspiration conveyed by his STORY, SETTING and ART. Music fills the gardens this Sunday.
Join us for Make Music Day at the Polasek, a global celebration of music performed in public spaces, presented locally in partnership with Orange County’s arts community. Admission is free all day, and with Father’s Day weekend here, it’s the perfect occasion to bring the whole family.

Featuring talented local musicians John Korbel, Maria Reyes, and David Abrams, performing throughout the museum and gardens. With empanadas from GAUCHA Gourmet Argentinian Empanadas available for purchase.

No tickets required. See you Sunday (1-4pm)!

In late April we celebrated our Annual Fundraiser Winter Park Paint Out at the Albin Polasek Museum.

Capen House has been open for weddings since 2015, but even before then, the museum has been hosting weddings and special events prior to the Capen restoration project.

Capen House serves not only has a space to foster timeless memories, but to support our museum and carry out our mission to honor Albin Polasek and enrich lives through exhibitions, programs and events.

We are unable to serve our community and support our museum without the help of our sponsors. We want to give a huge thank you to our incredible vendors who participated in this year’s Winter Park Paint Out!

A month later and we’re still thinking about it. The Garden Party was a beautiful close to an unforgettable week and it wouldn’t have been the same without every single person who joined us in the garden that evening. We just received a Community Impact Grant, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

We’re teaming up with to bring Orlando youth into the garden, into the gallery, and into a future they can imagine for themselves. Art workshops. Yoga on the lawn. Real conversations about what’s possible. We are so excited to open our doors, and garden, to the next generation.

Our final demo of the week is complete, and we’ve learned so much from these incredible artists!

This morning, master artist closed out our demo series with a stunning session on the role of edges in painting. The perfect way to end a week of world-class demonstrations.

Tomorrow is the last day of Paint Out. We’re open 9 AM–12 PM, so don’t sleep in! Every painting was created right here this week, and every purchase supports the artists and the museum. Shop live anytime online.
