I was reminded of a rant I went on a few weeks ago — people who want the result without doing the work.

Read a post from a sports agent about a former D1 football player, undrafted, told point-blank: no NFL interest right now, but here's the CFL path — go get reps, improve, let the league come find you.

His response? (More than once.) "No. Just get me into the NFL."

A few years back, someone (new actor) referred by my student (working actor) consulted with me for training. He was on board with everything I shared right up until the end, when he basically stated it more than asked: "So you get me an agent connect, right?" I had to explain that's not actually how it works. There's a process…. training, building the actual skill first…. He never followed through. Could hear it in his voice, he was not in.

Just gimme gimme gimme what I want. 😅
