🎭 Important Schedule Update for Our 2026–2027 Season 🎭

Following our annual meeting, we are adjusting our upcoming schedule to adapt to our currently available resources.
Please note the following calendar updates for this season:

🎩 "Out of the Hat" Workshops: Our monthly reading workshop series (the 3rd Saturday of the month October thru April) has been removed from the calendar for this season.

🏆 The Annual MHTL Maine Playwright Award is moving
forward! However, to avoid unpredictable winter weather and travel conditions, the celebratory script-in-hand reading of the winning play will move from January to April 2027. This shift ensures safer travel for all involved; playwright, actors, audience, volunteers, house staff.

✨ Mainstage Lineup: We are fully on track for our upcoming fully staged productions in May and September, as well as our special July festival performance reading!

Thank you all for your understanding and support as we shape our season for a stronger, safer turnout. Details regarding the Maine Playwright Award submission deadlines will be announced at a later date.
