This artwork portrays the beauty of a deep connection between two people united through dance. More than a simple movement, dance symbolizes the harmony, trust, and passion that exist between the couple. Amid vibrant colors and the rhythm of their steps, the world around them seems to disappear. There are no worries, no rush, and no distractions; there is only the presence of one another.

Their bodies move as if they share the same heartbeat, revealing a chemistry that goes beyond words. Dance becomes a silent language, where every gesture expresses love, devotion, and companionship. It is a celebration of true passion, the kind that connects two souls and transforms a simple moment into something eternal.

The Route, Artemis II

On April 1st, 2026, four astronauts made history: the first human crew to travel beyond Earth’s orbit since Apollo 17, in 1972. At their farthest point, they reached 406,740 km from Earth, breaking a 56-year-old record! Their trajectory took them around the far side of the Moon and back home.

In this painting, the brushstrokes represent exactly that route: the loop around Earth, the curve toward the Moon, and the return. Among the stars, those who see the work in person will notice that the space pulses with movement and texture, part of my style that lives beyond what a camera can capture. A canvas in tribute to the end of a historic journey. 🚀

Water Roots, 2025 (30x40 in)

A piece from the abstract collection Waters, inspired by the beauty and symbolism of water sources.

Every artist has a color that follows them throughout their journey. Mine is blue.

In this work, I explore different tones, depths, and temperatures of this color, which emerges almost intuitively in my creative process. Here, blue is not merely an aesthetic choice — it is a language. It builds movement, creates depth, and guides the viewer’s eye through the composition.

The vibrant brushstrokes and intense variations of blue suggest flow and continuity. White functions as a visual breath, bringing balance and lightness. Gold introduces contrast and energy, while the black lines structure the piece like fragments that reorganize themselves over time.

The composition invites the viewer to move through its layers, textures, and internal rhythms. Though abstract, it highlights the strength of color as a central element and reaffirms blue as a recurring identity within my work.

Hoje foi um daqueles dias que ficam marcados.

Estar diante de obras de Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt, Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Frans Hals, Joseph Wright of Derby e de muitos outros pintores me fez lembrar por que eu amo a arte.

Foi minha primeira vez no The Ringling Museum of Art, e eu realmente não esperava encontrar obras de artistas tão reconhecidos — pintores que marcaram profundamente a história da arte.

Cada detalhe.
Pinceladas sobre pinceladas.
Cada paleta de cor.
Cada ideia.
Cada cultura representada na tela.

Tudo isso me inspirou.

Fiquei pensando que poderia passar meses apenas observando cada obra com mais precisão, absorvendo cada decisão do artista, cada movimento do pincel, cada intenção por trás da composição.

Isso é arte.

Arte que atravessa séculos.
Arte que conversa.
Arte que ensina.
Arte que desperta algo dentro de nós.

Hoje saí dali com ainda mais vontade de aprender, estudar e crescer como artista.

The artwork “Jonathan Edwards” is part of the Men of Faith collection (2025), presented at the Conference of the Reformed Faith Gathering at Esperança Bible Presbyterian Church, honoring prominent theologians of the Reformed tradition.

Jonathan Edwards was chosen not only for his historical significance but as an example of deep spiritual and intellectual life. His theological and pastoral work, including sermons like Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, reflects his devotion to divine holiness, the human condition, and the centrality of grace.

The composition presents an abstract figure, blending Cubism and Post-Impressionism, focusing on form rather than facial realism. Certain features, such as hair, nose, and clothing, allow recognition of the figure, inspired by historical paintings, without intending a literal reproduction.

The central focus of the work is color. Brushstrokes full of movement and intensity create visual layers that convey energy, depth, and dynamism. The green background subtly references Van Gogh, integrating figure and space, while thicker outlines emphasize form without confining it.

My work combines various artistic languages, filtered through a personal style, exploring color as a spiritual, emotional, and symbolic expression.

“Jonathan Edwards” represents the meeting of theology, color, and form, honoring the figure not through likeness but through the visual and symbolic intensity of a man whose faith deeply impacted the history of Christian thought.
