Shakespeare Time is a youth Shakespeare Club and theatre troupe created in association with the Winston Teen Center and run by Youth Development Specialist and Americorps member, Rachel Fitzhugh. Fitzhugh holds a Master of Letters and a Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin College, and she uses her deep knowledge and love of Shakespeare and theatre to pass on her en

thusiasm to area youth. Shakespeare Time club members participate in a variety of workshops covering theatre history, acting techniques, scansion, costume history, and aspects of technical theatre, as well as auditioning for and performing in a yearly production of a Shakespeare play. Shakespeare Time is offered free of charge for Winston/Dillard area youth who are members of the Winston Teen Center.
