Seattle-born and North Carolina-based, Isodose (Jeff) is a DJ/producer with a lifetime of music behind him—a multi-instrumentalist, choir kid, and classical composer turned dancefloor instigator. He got his start in Vancouver, BC, where he DJed local events, co-hosted a radio show, and won a collegiate DJ competition.

Now, after a decade in the studio and behind the decks, he’s honed a signature, genre-fluid sound. ✨️👽 Expect high-energy blends of bass, house, DnB, and club cuts stitched across eras with seamless flow. When he’s not playing out, he’s digging for fresh sounds or finishing his next track.

This deep-seated appreciation for musical diversity eventually transitioned from collecting to mixing in 2003, the year he first stepped behind the decks to begin mixing.

To him, mixing is far more than a technical skill—it is a profound art form and a medium for true expression. This perspective fuels his ✨️primary mission: to foster a welcoming, non-toxic community where the love of music transcends all boundaries. Driven by the belief that race, sexuality, and background should never be barriers, he is dedicated to building a community defined by mutual respect and shared passion.✨️

With a focus on bridging the gap between the heritage of the underground and the energy of the younger generation, Maury Payan continues to expand the reach of the music he loves. He remains committed to cultivating an inclusive community where the next generation of listeners can discover, share, and grow within the underground.
