We've been working on this since last Fall, and can't believe we get to finally announce Sound System Sunday! This event will be an afternoon of bass at , delivered on the brand new . This series will be geared toward highlighting local and regional DJs and producers.

For the inaugural event we are stoked to welcome two dons of NC sound system culture to put our brand new rig to the test — of and of . Both of these legendary DJs have brought their systems to Winston for some of Subsentia's previous shows as well as supplied sound to multiple Undrgrnd events, so it is truly a full circle moment for us and sound system culture in the 336 that they help christen our new rig.

We are also happy to have the hands that built the boxes, , on the lineup for this maiden voyage. Our dream wouldn't have been a reality without him and we are lucky to have him as a friend and team member.

We wanted this event to be perfect for a mid-spring Sunday, so we have also invited and to curate sets to start us off and close us out for the afternoon.

We have a few more announcements for this first iteration of Sound System Sunday over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Event goes from 3pm-8pm, tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am on website.

Friday night, we are bringing the bass back to Ziggy's Greensboro😤

This lineup is stacked from top to bottom with incredibly innovative producers. These artists push boundaries on sound design and we are honored to be hosting them in the 336.

draws influence from a number of genres, ranging from jazz, to trip hop, jungle and even heavy metal. His sound design is one of a kind and his sets offer a unique experience every time.

A few day of notes:

1. Stay hydrated. Water will be available for sale at the bar, but we highly encourage you to bring a refillable bottle.

2. The show is almost sold out, which unfortunatley means we will not have space for flow toys at this event.

3. CONSENT IS MANDATORY. Always. Whether its a hug or dancinging with someone, always ask first. Violating this is the fastest way to get kicked out of one of our shows.

4. Be a community member, be respectful and mindful of your dance floor neighbors. Pick each other up and if you see something off, say something to a staff member.

5. Respect the system. No drinks on the speakers. 🫵
