Authoring Action The World Can Change With Just One Word!

Authoring Action is a nonprofit arts education & outreach organization dedicated to developing youth authors to educate through spoken word, visual art, design and film arts. Authoring Action Youth Programs:
-Engage learning in a nurturing, nontraditional and safe environment
-Enhance self awareness, understanding and esteem
-Build personal/social responsibility and leadership skills
-Foster creat

ivity and enhanced communications skills
-Promote cross-cultural understanding and exchange

Successful Applicant Criteria:
-Have an interest in writing, self-expression and positive change for self and the greater community
-Strive to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Work well with others
-Commit to attending both Summer and on-going Intensive Writing programs and participating in engagements

More than a creative outlet, JustUs opens pathways to self-discovery, opportunity, and purpose. Through their stories and films, their voices are amplified and shared in our community and beyond.

In a time when it feels like the negative news is overwhelming and so much is out of your control, you can take an action today and support this life-changing work! A gift can provide set equipment for our JustUs program, theater rentals for performances, participant stipends, film equipment, and more.
