DADA- Downtown Arts District Association The Downtown Arts District is “Where Art Lives!”

The Downtown Art District is unique to Winston-Salem - originally created by a handful of artists- it now houses an eclectic mix of artist studios, galleries, shops and public art as well as restaurants and residences encompassing more than 4 square blocks.

DADA's 1st DADA 1st Friday Gallery Hop is August 7 from 7-10 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to be the first people to paint part of the Downtown Arts District Community Mural. Streets will be closed for this hop, as well as the Sept 4 and Oct 2 hops. Galleries will have new show openings, and other activities will be happening in the streets and in the studios and shops. Join us for an evening of art and fun! Attached are some of the pieces we will be painting for the mural.

This is a mock up of the DADA community mural that will be located on the now yellow wall at the intersection of Trade St and 7th St. The painting will begin in August at the DADA 1st Friday Gallery Hops. Come out and leave your mark on the Downtown Arts District!

DADA would never ask for donations for anything other that the DADA 1st Friday Gallery Hop or one of our Downtown Arts District projects. If you receive this email, please report it as a scam.
