Hey everyone. After a lot of discussion we’ve decided to close down the brick and mortar incarnation of Reanimator at the end of the month. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 4 years by giving us your business, coming out to shows, volunteering, and donating.

It’s probably no surprise that Reanimator has never been a financially viable business and we’ve struggled a lot over the years with the decision of whether or not to stay open. We mostly kept it going because there was such a lack of small venues in town and we felt that closing would be a blow to the music scene here (even though our space was tiny and way too hot – thanks for bearing with us).

It feels like there’s a lot of momentum currently with Test Pattern hosting so many great shows, Black Lodge having bands every Sunday, and of course, the Garage doing its thing. We plan to continue to book events at other venues, release music, make shirts and patches and other things.

Special thanks to Kendall, Blake, Ian, Alex, Carlos, Jesse and everyone else who volunteered their time to watch the store.
