Tried my hand at working with Pan pastels and pastel pencils on Uart sanded paper (with a tickling of my beloved coloured pencils too). Thoroughy enjoyed myself. Took a class with Dawn vdstoep, an excellent teacher. She titled this "Life Source"

My focus on the Stellers Jay came about as a result of a trip planned to Bryce Canyon in April 2024, where I will be teaching this bird on drafting film and using Prismacolor, and giving it a journalling flavour (12" x 8 ¾")
