Visiting the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis especially being at the site of the Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated is deeply moving. It’s one thing to read about civil rights history, but standing in the very place where so much of it unfolded can hit on a whole different level.

Their favorite part was actually seeing and getting the history behind the Six Tribe Eight (officially known as the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion) So powerful that we encountered their story at the museum their legacy is such an important part of American and military history.
