What an AMAZING turnout we had for June Jams welcoming Perfect Storm to the stage! 🙌 The energy, the crowd, and the support from this community was absolutely incredible! ❤️

🎉 Mark your calendars and get ready for some summer fun!

📍 Location: Outdoor Pool 🏊‍♂️
📅 Date: July 4th 🇺🇸
⏰ Time: 9:30 AM ⏰

We’re excited to announce the 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Race! 🛶📦

This year we’re switching things up a bit 👀👇
🚨 ALL boats MUST be built from recycled materials ONLY ♻️
❌ No kayaks
❌ No paddle boards
❌ No pre-made watercraft

🏗️ The Recreation Department will have some supplies available, including:
📦 Cardboard
🍜 Pool noodles

for anyone who needs a little help getting started! 🙌

At least 1 member of the crew must be in the boat during the race at all times 🛶🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

🚨 ATTENTION WINSLOW! 🚨

We would like to clarify a few rules regarding the outdoor pool to help ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

🏊 Children ages 9 and older may attend the pool without a guardian.

🏊 Children ages 8 and younger must be accompanied by a guardian who is at least 16 years old.

• Guardians ages 16–17 may supervise only ONE child.
• Adults ages 18 and older may supervise up to TWO children.

Please note that staff may ask for identification and/or require a swim test for anyone attending alone who appears to be struggling in the water at any time during their visit.

Every Saturday during the month of June, we’ll be bringing some of Arizona’s best local bands to the stage at the Route 66 Plaza! 🎤🔥

💦 Splash Pad Season is Here! 💦

The City of Winslow is excited to announce that the Hayden Walton Splash Pad is now OPEN for the season!

As temperatures begin to rise, we invite residents and visitors to come out and enjoy a fun way to cool off with family and friends.

☀️ Please help us keep the area clean and enjoyable for everyone by disposing of trash properly and supervising children at all times.

We look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying the splash pad this summer!

Take a look at everything the Recreation Department has going on all summer long! With the heat rolling in 🔥, don’t forget to cool off and take advantage of our Cool June Jams 🎶 and DJ Nights 🎧 happening throughout the evenings!
