๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ณ๐ข๐๐ค ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ (๐๐๐) in our Winslow Studio Artists gallery was never meant to be a static installation. Part of Danโs vision was an ever-changing assortment of Arrays, where pieces are changed out, moved, reordered. When Dan began working on ๐๐๐, he developed the concept of the Huddle, a protected, safety in numbers grouping of figures. He thought about threats to that Array, and came up with the Predators. Katzenjammer was the first predator to spring to life, made from salvaged HVAC duct that was demolished during the restoration of the Turquoise Room dining room back in 1999 and parking lot lights from La Posada. Katzenjammer did not make it into the first iteration of this exhibit due to the size, plus, Dan had a few things to finish on the piece, including some structural work and getting the lights working. Over the last couple of weeks he has been refining Katzenjammer (seen here inside his home and studio, Snowdrift Art Space), and it may very well find its way into the Array in mid May. If you have not seen the exhibit in it's current state, please do so! It is an intriguing installation. Link in comments to details about LSA.
